Where Do I Vote?
You can find your polling place location by going to the following website: https://myvote.wi.gov
If you need more information please call the town clerk at 920.446.2777 or stop at the town hall on election day. Our friendly staff will direct you to your polling place if you are uncertain of where you would vote.
What if I have changed my Name or my Address since I voted in the Last Election?
To change your name/address you will need to complete a new Voter Registration Application. Attach one form of acceptable proof of residence or proof of the name change and mail to the Town of Fremont Clerk. Feel free to call 920.446.2777 if you have questions.

Anyone wishing to vote in the Town of Fremont has the following options to register:
- ONLINE – https://myvote.wi.gov
- IN PERSON
- BY MAIL
- AT THE POLLING PLACE ON ELECTION DAY
Important: A copy of proof of residence must be included when submitting the voter registration application by mail, when registering to vote at the polling place, and when registering to vote on Election Day.
- IN PERSON: Register in the town clerk’s office. Arrangements will be made to meet with you at the town hall no later than 5:00 p.m. on the Friday before the election.
- BY MAIL: Complete the Voter Registration Application. Print the form, sign and date the form, and mail to the Town of Fremont Clerk along with a copy of acceptable proof of residence. You may register by mail until the 3rd Wednesday preceding the next election.
- AT THE POLLING PLACE ON ELECTION DAY: If you wish to register to vote at the town hall, you must bring acceptable proof that you have lived at your present address for 28 days preceding the election. Examples of this document can be found on the reverse side of the Voter Registration Application or below under Proof of Residence.

- Any qualified elector who is unable or unwilling to appear at the polling place on Election Day may request to vote an absentee ballot. To obtain an absentee ballot you may:
- Personally come to the town clerk’s office to cast an absentee ballot during the specified days and hours preceding the election or by appointment.
- You can make a request in writing and we will mail you an absentee ballot. The written request must include your voting address within the Town of Fremont, the address where the absentee ballot should be sent, if different, and your signature. State Law currently requires a photo ID in order to receive a ballot. Please include a copy of your valid photo ID with your request. You can also print our Absentee Ballot Request form. If you use this form, remember to sign and date the form prior to submitting it by mail.
- You may also make a request by email containing the information as stated above in number two and attach a copy of your photo ID to the email to: [email protected]
- The deadline for submitting an absentee request by mail is 5:00 p.m. on the Thursday preceding the election. The deadline for voting an absentee ballot in the clerk's office is 5:00 p.m. on the Friday preceding the election.
All voted absentee ballots must be returned to the Clerk’s Office by Election Day in order to be counted.
On election days, residents of the Town of Fremont can vote at the Fremont Town Hall, E7403 Hwy 110 Fremont, Wisconsin.
The polls are open for each election from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
All voters in the Town of Fremont must be registered to vote. You will be required to show a photo ID before voting.
Voters must sign the poll book to obtain a ballot. Voters unable to sign the poll book because of a physical disability are exempt from this requirement. If this applies to you, tell the election officials that you are unable to sign because of a disability. Election officials will write "exempt" in your signature block.
Upon entering the polling place, an elector shall give his or her name and address and show his/her photo identification before being permitted to vote. Upon being permitted to vote, the elector will state a paper ballot or voting machine preference. A pollworker will issue a signed paper ballot and direct the elector to a booth; or a pollworker will direct the elector to the voting machine. The elector shall retire alone to a voting booth or voting machine and cast his or her ballot except that an elector who is a parent or guardian may be accompanied by the elector's minor child or minor ward. An election official may inform the elector of the proper manner for casting a vote, but the official may not in any manner advise or indicate a particular voting choice.
After an official ballot is cast, the elector shall leave the polling place promptly.
An elector may select an individual to assist in casting his or her vote if the elector declares to the presiding official that he or she is unable to read, has difficulty reading, writing or understanding English or that due to disability is unable to cast his or her ballot. The selected individual rendering assistance may not be the elector's employer or an agent of that employer or an officer or agent of a labor organization which represents the elector.
